Appeal after motorcylist badly injured in Aberdeenshire

Police have appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was badly injured in a serious crash in Aberdeenshire.

The 42-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with leg injuries after the collision on the A950 Longside to Mintlaw road.

The crash, which also involved three cars, happened at about 1220 BST on Wednesday.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said the road was closed for several hours to allow an investigation to take place.
