Aberdeen fatal crash: Grampian Police renew appeal

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after a 60-year-old pedestrian died following a collision involving a car in Aberdeen.

Russell Stuart, of Seaton, died in hospital after the accident at the city's Beach Esplanade on Friday 6 May.

It happened at about 0930 BST and involved a silver Ford Puma. Mr Stuart was on the north side of the road behind his parked car.

Grampian Police urged anyone with information to come forward.

Insp Ian Kirkwood said: "I would ask if anyone saw the Ford Puma on the lead up to the collision or indeed the actual collision itself to get in touch, no matter how insignificant they think their information may be."
