Firefighters have been called out to tackle a blaze at a former Aberdeen primary school.

Several units of Grampian Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to the Causewayend building, at about 1430 BST.

Grampian Police officers were also at the scene.

A force spokesperson said Causewayend had been closed at Fraser Place, for city bound traffic, and motorists were advised to expect delays.

Powis Place was closed between Calsayseat Road and the Mounthooly roundabout.
