Teenager, 13, charged over Aberdeen fires

A 13-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a series of fires started in Aberdeen.

Grampian Police said the local teenager was charged over the incidents in the Seaton area on 28 May.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service attended four wilful fires, including a motorcycle and waste in communal areas of two multi-story buildings, during the early hours of that morning.

A report is to be submitted to the Childrens Reporter in due course.
