Man, 21, held over Aberdeen crack cocaine recovery

A man has been arrested after drugs worth thousands of pounds were seized in Aberdeen.

Crack cocaine with an estimated street value of about £17,000 was recovered in the Northfield area of the city on Wednesday evening.

Officers from the Grampian Police major investigation team detained a 21-year-old man.

A force spokesman said the man was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday.
