Motorist cut free after Aberdeenshire accident on B993

A man has been cut free from a car and taken to hospital after a crash on an Aberdeenshire road.

The accident happened on the B993 Inverurie to Whiterashes road at about 0940 BST on Wednesday.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service sent two units from Inverurie and the occupant was freed from the car.

Grampian Police said the man - who was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary - was not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
