Grampian Police officers bitten by dog in Aberdeen

Two people were detained after three police officers were bitten by a dog in Aberdeen.

The incident happened in Cloverfield Gardens in the Bucksburn area of the city early on Sunday.

Grampian Police said three officers suffered "minor injuries" after being bitten by a dog.

A force spokesperson said: "An extensive search was carried out in the area where an 18-year-old male and a 43-year-old female were apprehended."

They were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday in connection with the incident.
