Woman charged over Asda 'syringe in baby food' claim
A woman has been charged with wasting police time following claims a syringe was found in baby food.
An investigation was launched after it was alleged the syringe was found in a jar bought at Asda in Elgin in May.
Grampian Police said a 33-year-old woman had now been charged in connection with the incident.
A force spokesman said: "A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal and the female is expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on 21 July."
