Shetland heroin supply woman Virginia Creggy jailed

A woman involved in the supply of drugs worth thousands of pounds in Shetland has been jailed for four years.

Courier Virginia Creggy, of Merseyside, admitted being concerned in the supply of 160g of heroin said to be worth £21,000.

Sheriff Graeme Napier told Lerwick Sheriff Court there had to be a significant punishment.

He said in his sentencing statement: "It is well known that Shetland is seen as a lucrative market."
