Injured joiner sues for £250,000 after farm roof fall

A joiner is suing a property developer for £250,000 after he fell through a roof.

Brian Ewen, 51, from Braemar, was badly injured when working at Balnacraig Farm at Torphins in September 2008.

He was carrying out work for Frank Burnett Ltd, carrying out repairs to roof rafters, when he fell about 12ft onto a concrete floor.

The action has been raised at the Court of Session in Edinburgh. The HSE was informed of the accident.
