Scooter crash boy Thomas-Jack Crawford, four, stable

A four-year-old boy hit by a truck in Aberdeen while he was out on his scooter has been described as "stable" in hospital.

Thomas-Jack Crawford was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital after the accident on Jesmond Drive in the Bridge of Don area on Wednesday.

He suffered serious head injuries in the collision.

The 55-year-old male driver of the vehicle was uninjured. Grampian Police appealed for witnesses to the crash.
