Suspected heroin recovered at Lerwick ferry terminal
Drugs worth about £5,000 have been found by police after searching a man at a ferry terminal on Shetland.
Police said the suspected heroin was recovered at Holmsgarth ferry terminal in Lerwick on Tuesday.
A Northern Constabulary spokesman said the man was in custody and a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
The spokesman added: "Seizures such as this are as a result of determined action from the police to act on information provided by the public."
