A diver has been airlifted to hospital in Aberdeen after getting into difficulties in Shetland.

The man was diving from a local boat named "Clive Dive", in Bluemull Sound off the island of Unst.

He suffered suspected decompression sickness - commonly known as "the bends".

A coastguard helicopter flew him to the National Hyperbaric Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. His condition is unknown.
