Woman, 32, hurt in Shetland cliffs fall at Esha Ness

A woman has been taken to hospital for treatment after falling from cliffs in Shetland.

The 32-year-old woman was believed to have fallen about 90ft at Esha Ness at about 05:30.

Coastguards, officers from Northern Constabulary, and medical personnel were called to the scene.

She was taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital before being transferred to hospital in Aberdeen. Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
