Aberdeen disused factory fire causes delays

Firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze at a disused factory in the centre of Aberdeen.

Four appliances and a height vehicle were involved in fighting the fire at the former Richards textile plant on Maberly Street.

The fire was reported to the emergency services at about 11:40.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said Maberly Street had been closed and motorists faced delays in surrounding areas.
