Three people injured in B997 Aberdeenshire road crash

Three people have been taken to hospital after a serious road crash in Aberdeenshire.

Two people were believed to have been initially trapped after the two-car collision on the B997 between Newmachar and Fowlershill.

Grampian Police said the crash happened at about 12:30.

A force spokesperson said three people had been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to their injuries.
