Grampian Police plea after Elgin flats fire evacuation

Police have appealed for witnesses after flats in Elgin were evacuated due to a suspicious fire.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service was called to the Moray town's Fulmar Road at about 18:25 on Tuesday.

All the residents within the block of flats had to leave the building due to the fire.

Grampian Police said two males were seen running from the area. They were described as white, slim, and in their 20s.
