Aberdeen drugs runner jailed for 40 months

A first offender who was a runner for a major drugs gang in Aberdeen has been jailed for 40 months.

Omari Campbell, 22, of Birmingham, would pick up drugs from safe houses and pass them to low level dealers.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs and was jailed for three years and four months at the High Court in Edinburgh.

Campbell was caught during Operation Charger which saw Grampian Police seize drugs worth almost £200,000.
