Mary Gardner Jerusalem death: Parents welcome arrests
The parents of Scottish missionary Mary Gardner have welcomed news that the group accused of the bombing that killed her has been arrested.
Ms Gardner, 59, originally of Orkney, was studying at the Hebrew University.
The evangelical Christian and bible translator died when a bomb exploded at a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem in March.
Her father Tony, who lives near Insch, Aberdeenshire, welcomed the arrests by Israeli security forces.
He told BBC Scotland it was "very good news".
Mr Gardner said his daughter's funeral, in May, brought them closure, but added: "People who kill innocent people should be brought to justice."
Before becoming a bible translator, Ms Gardner worked as a teacher in Orkney.
