'Renewed interest' in former Aberdeen City Council HQ
Renewed interest in buying Aberdeen City Council's former headquarters is being expressed by a retail developer, BBC Scotland understands.
Councillors will next week be asked to go ahead with marketing the St Nicholas House site.
It is understood the cost of demolishing could be about £2m.
Councillors will be asked to decide whether the building should be demolished by a developer, by the local authority itself, or not at all.
More than 1,000 council staff vacated St Nicholas House for the newly refurbished Marischal College building across the road over the summer.
The granite landmark building was extensively refurbished as part of a three-year £65m project.
