Motorcyclist injured in car crash near Aberdeen

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

The accident happened on the B977, about half-a-mile north of the Parkhill crossroads, at about 15:30.

The road was left blocked in both directions, and the Scottish Ambulance Service and Grampian Police were called to the scene.

The man, in his 20s, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with suspected leg injuries.
