Peterhead attackers sought after man, 57, injured

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man suffered internal injuries in a serious assault in Peterhead.

The 57-year-old victim was repeatedly kicked by two men at the old railway line in the Aberdeenshire town's Crossfolds Crescent area.

The incident happened at about 21:00 on Sunday.

Grampian Police said both attackers were described as being in their 20s. One was wearing a red football top and Wellington boots.

The other was wearing dark clothing.
