Dundee to Aberdeen trains run again after bull crash

Train services between Dundee and Aberdeen are running again, after being disrupted when a bull was struck and killed.

A freight train struck the animal near Carnoustie, Angus, at about 08:15.

Network Rail said the bull had been removed and that checks were carried out on the train in case repairs were needed.

The company said the line reopened at around 17:10 once the "slightly damaged" train was repaired.
