Man denies being abusive on Heathrow to Aberdeen plane

A man has denied being drunk and abusive on board a plane bound for Aberdeen from Heathrow.

Andrew Doughty, 39, of Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, is accused of shouting, swearing and spitting in August this year.

Mr Doughty also faced disorderly behaviour allegations at Aberdeen Airport and Grampian Police headquarters.

The case is due to return to Aberdeen Sheriff Court in February.
