Aberdeen and Salisbury Caesarean doctor awaits fate

A doctor must wait to learn his fate after being found of guilty of failings during Caesarean section work.

Dr Osarume Giwa-Osagie was working at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Salisbury Hospital in 2009 when patients haemorrhaged.

He was found guilty of a series of charges after a General Medical Council (GMC) hearing.

It was adjourned until 26 March to rule on if the failings amount to misconduct and what punishment he should face.
