Police appeal after hit-and-run in Aberdeen

Police have appealed for witnesses after a pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run in Aberdeen.

The 39-year-old woman suffered head injuries in the collision with a car at May Baird Avenue at the junction with Ashgrove Road.

The driver failed to stop and drove off into May Baird Avenue towards Royal Cornhill Hospital.

The incident happened at about 17:00 on Thursday. Grampian Police have appealed for information.
