Missing Aberdeenshire man and granddaughter found safe

A man and his four-year-old granddaughter who went missing in Aberdeenshire have been found after an anxious police appeal.

Roy Berry, 46, and four-year-old Annalise, who are from the Turriff area, were last seen in the early hours.

Grampian Police had issued an appeal for information.

A force spokesperson said the pair had been found safe and well in the Turriff area.
