Peterhead shore body: Man named as Barry Cannon

A man whose body was found on the shoreline in Peterhead has been named by police.

Barry Cannon, 44, was found in the Gadle Braes area of the Aberdeenshire town on Saturday.

The discovery was made by a member of the public on the rocky shoreline at about 11:00.

His death is being treated as "unexplained" by Grampian Police and the force has appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
