Two men injured in Aberdeen street attack

A man was knocked unconscious and another sustained facial fractures after an unprovoked attack in Aberdeen city centre, according to police.

The two 35 year olds were approached by two other men in Market Street at about 23:00 on Saturday.

One of the victims was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he was treated for injuries to his face.

The suspects are described as aged between 20 and 30, both with short dark hair and wearing dark clothing.

One was about 6ft tall, while the other was about 5ft 6in.

Police described it as an "unprovoked" and "unacceptable" attack.

Grampian Police urged anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
