Four in court over '£35,000 of drugs' in Aberlour

Four men have appeared in court after drugs with an estimated street value of £35,000 were seized in Moray.

Cocaine was recovered in the Aberlour area, along with a five-figure sum of money.

Malcolm Badenoch, 43, from Aberlour, Bradley Bruce, 24, from Hopeman, John McConville, 23, from Carstairs, and Alexander Sirrell, 21, from Carluke, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court.

They were all charged with drug offences but made no pleas.

Mr Badenoch was also charged with a firearms offence.

Grampian Police said a joint intelligence-led operation had been carried out on Friday.
