Shoe cleaner robber jailed for Aberdeen chip shop raid
A man who tried to rob an Aberdeen chip shop while armed with a can of shoe cleaner has been jailed.
Daniel Robertson, 27, assaulted two female staff at Mike's Famous Fish and Chip Shop while on bail in August. He fled empty-handed.
He admitted the attack and was jailed at the High Court in Livingston.
Lord Bannatyne handed down an extended sentence totalling seven years with the custodial term lasting a minimum of four years and three months.
