Youths charged over £40,000 damage at Aberdeen school

Boys aged 13 and 14 have been charged after damage estimated at £40,000 was caused to an Aberdeen school.

Police said the two youths had been charged after investigating a fire and vandalism at Tullos Primary School in Girdleness Road.

Grampian Police Ch Insp George Macdonald said vandalism and fireraising attacks in schools struck at the heart of communities.

He thanked the Torry community for coming forward with information.
