Motorists trapped in Orkney A986 crash

Emergency services have been called to the scene of a two-vehicle road crash in Orkney.

Two motorists had to be freed by Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service after the accident, it was reported.

It happened on the A986 near Harray Hall at about 14:00.

Northern Constabulary said the road was closed and diversions were being put in place via Lyde Road from Evie to Harray.
