Exhibition to show Stonehaven flood alleviation options

A public exhibition showing options for flood alleviation in Stonehaven is to be held.

Millions of pounds of damage was caused by flooding in the Kincardineshire town in 2009.

People can see displays of the proposed options, and ask questions, on Thursday at Stonehaven Town Hall from 10:30 until 19:00.

Chairman of the Kincardine and Mearns area committee, Paul Melling, said: "We really want to hear what people think."
