Councils in north east and Northern Isles agree to budgets
Councils in the north east of Scotland and Northern Isles have been agreeing their budgets.
Moray Council passed what was described as a "no-change budget" with a warning further savings will be required in future years.
Councillors in Aberdeenshire approved a five-year budget of £548m.
Orkney Islands Council has agreed to make savings of £1.9m in the next financial year, down from the £4m figure originally anticipated.
Aberdeen City Council is facing a £2.6m shortfall in its budget for the next year.
