Drugs including 'MCAT' recovered in Aberdeenshire

Drugs including heroin, cocaine and mephedrone - known as MCAT - have been seized by police in raids across Aberdeenshire.

Operation Hotspur saw raids carried out in Inverurie, Westhill, Huntly, Ellon and Fraserburgh in recent days.

Five people are being reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the drug seizures.

MCAT was reclassified as a Class B substance after it was linked to a number of deaths.
