Liverpool man in court over Aberdeen heroin recovery

A Liverpool man has appeared in court after heroin worth tens of thousands of pounds was seized in Aberdeen.

The drugs - with an estimated street value of £50,000 - were seized in the Sheddocksley area by members of the Grampian Police major investigation team on Friday evening.

Stephen Mudd, 22, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
