Man admits Aberdeen pharmacy knife robbery

A man has admitted carrying out an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Aberdeen.

Peter Manson, 25, struck at Webster's Pharmacy, on Hilton Drive, armed with a knife in November last year.

Worker Michelle Allan pressed the panic button as she pretended to look for keys to the controlled drug cupboard, the High Court in Edinburgh heard.

Manson, who escaped with diazepam, admitted assault and robbery. Sentence was deferred for reports.
