Police appeal over stolen budgies in Moray

Police have appealed for information after budgies were stolen from an aviary in Moray.

A quantity of the birds, in a variety of colours, were taken from a property in the Mill of Towie area near Keith.

The budgies are valued at more than £100 and police want to hear from anyone offered such birds for sale.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said the theft happened between 19:00 on Thursday and 09:30 on Friday.
