Body of man recovered from Fraserburgh Harbour

A body of a man has been recovered from Fraserburgh Harbour.

The emergency services were alerted that the body had been seen floating in the Aberdeenshire harbour's Balaclava Basin at about 13:45.

The Fraserburgh lifeboat and local Coastguard team managed to recover the man's corpse and it was brought ashore.

Efforts to identify the body are expected to get under way on Monday.
