Investigations are under way after reports that a gun may have been fired on an Aberdeen street.

Grampian Police were called to the scene in the Pitmedden Road area of Dyce at about 15:00.

The road was closed off and sniffer dogs could be seen in the vicinity. Officers said no-one was injured.

Additional patrols are being carried out and detectives are keen to speak to two men who were seen in the vicinity around the time of the incident.
