Police recover drugs 'worth £60,000' after swoop in Fochabers and near Aviemore

Drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds have been seized after an operation in Fochabers and on the A9 near Aviemore.

Grampian Police and Northern Constabulary carried out a joint operation on Thursday and found drugs including heroin and cannabis with an estimated street value of £60,000.

A raid took place at Burnside Caravan Park in Fochabers and a car was stopped on the A9.

Three men aged 24, 25 and 26 from the Liverpool area are due in court.
