Man found dead after Aberdeen house fire named as Roderick Forbes

A man who died following a house fire in Aberdeen has been named.

The body of Roderick Forbes, 70, was found after the blaze in Fonthill Avenue on Tuesday evening.

More than 20 firefighters - some using breathing apparatus - were involved in the incident.

Grampian Police said the joint police and fire investigation into the cause of the fire remained ongoing, but early indications were that there were no suspicious circumstances.
