Aberdeen's La Lombarda restaurant window vandals branded 'reckless'

Vandals who smashed an Aberdeen restaurant window as diners ate inside have been branded "reckless" by police.

The incident happened at La Lombarda in the Castlegate area at about 19:20 on Wednesday.

Three male youths, two wearing hooded grey tops and one with a red short-sleeved top, are being sought.

Pc David Elrick, of Grampian Police, said: "This was a reckless act that showed no regard for the persons within."

He added: "I would ask that anyone who saw the youths, who were last seen running on Market Street towards Torry, contact the police."

The value of the damage was more than £1,000.
