Five freed over Peterhead pub disorder after Old Firm game

Five men arrested in connection with football-related disorder have been released.

Trouble was reported at the Station Bar in Peterhead after an Old Firm game on 25 March.

The men, aged 52, 37, 28, 26 and 21, had been expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court.

But a Crown Office spokesman said all five had been liberated pending further investigation and did not appear in court.

The men had been arrested in early-evening raids on Wednesday.

Grampian Police earlier said further arrests "may be expected".
