Man in hospital after bus crash in Banff

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment after his car was in collision with a bus in Aberdeenshire, police have said.

The incident happened in Banff's Old Market Place, shortly after 09:00.

The motorist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance for treatment.

The bus had no passengers aboard at the time, and there were no other injuries. Grampian Police appealed for witnesses to contact them.
