Funeral of car crash driver Aidan Thomson held in Aberdeen

The funeral of a 17-year-old driver killed alongside another teenager in an Aberdeen car crash has been held.

Aidan Thomson died along with passenger Scott Taylor, also 17, after their car hit a tree on West Tullos Road on Tuesday 5 June.

His funeral was held at Hazlehead Crematorium from 13:35 GMT.

Relatives had previously described Mr Thomson, in a statement, as a "cherished" and "adored" son, brother and grandson.

A celebration of Mr Taylor's life was held on Monday.
