An 11-year-old boy found unconscious at the bottom of Stonehaven Outdoor Pool is now recovering at home with his parents.

The boy, a pupil at Ferryhill Primary in Aberdeen, has been discharged from hospital in Edinburgh.

He was taken there in a serious condition after the emergency services were called to the pool on Thursday last week.

Aberdeenshire Council is carrying out an investigation into the incident.
