Peterhead theft of charity sports items condemned
The theft in Peterhead of sporting memorabilia which was set to auctioned for charity has been branded "shameful".
The items include items signed by the Ryder Cup golf team, and Arsenal FC.
The theft happened between 13 June and 4 July at a house in the town's Rattray Road.
Grampian Police Det Con Kevin MacDonald said: "This is a shameful theft of items which were aimed at raising money for charity."
The items included a Valhalla golf flag signed by the Ryder Cup team, an Arsenal 1996-97 football strip signed by the team, and a book signed by professional golfer Peter Alliss.
