Kenneth O'Connor admits Aberdeen bigamy offence

An Aberdeen man has admitted a bigamy charge after tying the knot with his girlfriend while still married to his first wife.

Kenneth O'Connor, 50, wed his second wife at the city's Mannofield Parish Church in 2009.

O'Connor said he had had multiple sclerosis for 21 years and thought he was divorced. He has also split from his second wife.

Sentence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court was deferred until next month.
